At this camp, kids will get the chance to learn to row, as well as meet other kids in the area. We follow our Start Rowing program, which is intended to teach everything you need to know to join any rowing club. We also include outings on Lake Rosseau and and fun skills competitions. Below are a few of the details on the week.

AGE: 12-18 years of age.

The following will be included:

• Equipment
• Safety
• Basic skills
• Technique
• Understanding the environment for the sport
• Customized coaching/training
• Lots of time doing the rowing!
• Information to be able to pursue rowing in your home town if desired

WHEN TO BE HERE:

Please be here 15 minutes early for the first day - 7:45-8:00am on Monday morning  so that we can get forms signed. 

WHERE TO FIND US:

You'll find us out on the front porch of Hatchets Training Centre getting sunblock on and forms signed!

PLEASE BRING:

• A parent or guardian for the first morning to sign forms
• Sunblock and a hat (dress according to the weather)
• Running shoes, shorts and t-shirts to be outside all morning and any rain or warm clothes needed. We have a facility inside for washrooms, breaks - but will be outside most of the morning.
